Iran's Sanam Outpoints Malaysia in Asian Basketball Match

TEHRAN, December 23 (Mehr News Agency) – Sanam representing Iran in the 14th Asian Club Basketball Championships Monday edged past Malaysia’s Petronas 78-64 in Kuala Lumpur.

In other matches, Al Wahda from Syria crushed India's Indiana Police 126-72 and the Bahraini side Al Mahraq beat a South Korean team 93-83.

Nine teams are competing in the 14th Asian edition.
